ระวัง! ทางข้ามรถไฟ รู้ไว้หลักปฏิบัติ 3 ข้อ ขับรถผ่านให้ปลอดภัย
เส้นทางจุดตัดทางรถไฟเป็นเส้นทางที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุในลักษณะรุนแรงถึงเสียชีวิตบ่อยครั้ง และมักกเกิดจากความไม่คุ้นเคยและความไม่ชำนาญเส้นทางของผู้ขับขี่ และขาดทักษะในการขับรถผ่านทางข้ามรถไฟ กรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย (ปภ.) แนะหลัก 3 ข้อเพื่อความปลอดภัยดังนี้ครับ
1.หากต้องขับรถผ่านทางข้ามรถไฟให้เพิ่มความระมัดระวัง และโดยเฉพาะหากขับในเส้นทางที่ไม่ชำนาญ เพราะอาจทำให้เสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุได้ โดยเฉพาะทางข้ามที่ไม่มีแผงกั้นทางรถไฟ รวมถึงการขับรถในช่วงกลางคืนที่ทัศนวิสัยในการมองเห็นเส้นทางไม่ดีควรระมัดระวังเป็นพิเศษ
2.ระมัดระวังได้ด้วยการหมั่นสังเกตป้ายเตือนสัญลักษณ์ทางรถไฟ หรือสังเกตลูกระนาด ว่าเส้นทางข้างหน้ามีจุดตัดทางรถไฟหรือไม่ เพื่อให้ระมัดระวังในการขับขี่เพิ่มขึ้น ควรชะลอความเร็วและหยุดรถก่อนถึงจุดตัดทางรถไฟ พร้อมมองซ้ายและขวาจนแน่ใจจึงค่อยขับรถข้ามจุดตัดทางรถไฟ และหากมีสัญญาณไฟจราจรบริเวณทางรถไฟ ไม่ควรหยุดหรือจอดรถคร่อมรางรถไฟเป็นอันขาด เพราะหากมีรถไฟวิ่งผ่านมา จะไม่สามารถเคลื่อนรถได้ทัน
3.เมื่อมีสัญญาณไฟเตือนว่ารถไฟกำลังมา และแผงไม้กั้นจะค่อย ๆ ปิดลงมา เพื่อนๆ ควรหยุดรถให้ห่างจากทางรถไฟในระยะไม่ต่ำกว่า 5 เมตร ไม่ควรเร่งความเร็วและข้ามทางรถไฟขณะไม้กั้นค่อยๆ ปิดลง เพราะอาจทำให้เกิดอุบัติร้ายแรงได้นะครับ
